Jessicapi Productions Logo

Jessica Pi Video has recently been re-branded as Jessica Pi Productions, with a new logo and a new website. The URL remains www.jessicapi.com.  Jessica Piscitelli will continue to run this boutique video company with the same professionalism and attention to the bride and grooms personal style, but wanted to update the look and feel of Jessica Pi’s brand presence to reflect the clean and sophisticated style that was already present in all Jessica Pi Productions.

Along with an updated logo and look, the website includes new video samples, showing some of the ceremonies and receptions Jessica Pi Productions has worked on in the past year.  Additionally, the new website includes a blog in which Jessica can post current videos and information about all the goings on at Jessica Pi Productions.

Shannon and Matt in Alexandria, VA

Thursday, April 16th, 2009

One of our fabulous photographers (Andrea Jacobson of The Observatory) submitted this fabulous recent wedding to us!  Take a look!

Shannon and Matt were married on March 14 in Old Town Alexandria –the town they also call home. The day began at the ever stylish Hotel Monaco in Alexandria, where the couple saw each other for the first time that day.

The weather did not cooperate quite as much as we had hoped, but with umbrellas in hand we were still able to enjoy the Old Town scenery for portraits. The first biggest smiles of the day actually surfaced when the couple braved the elements to walk down King Street towards Torpedo Factory where they would be married.

This was another “March Madness” wedding and I don’t mean basketball. The madness this month for us came in form of photographing spectacular dancing. Shannon and Matt gave an incredible performance for the first dance and continued to cut up the dance floor to tunes played by DJ Evan Reitmeyer of MyDeejay.com. It’s always a treat to work with Evan, a fellow member of the DC Couture Wedding Consortium, because he keeps the dance floor full and lively giving us lots to capture.

Shannon and Matt met one night while out with friends at Stetson’s on U Street over, what Matt describes as, warm tequlia. They spent most of 2008 apart, as Matt was on the road with the Obama campaign, and look forward to spending a lot more time together this year. Hopefully a lot of that time will be spent dancing. They were really that good!
